| | Date: | Wed 08 Jun 2011 14:24:33 BST | | Subject: | Complete beginner | | | I am 64 years of age and on the 6th June this year I purchased my first DSLR camera.I have always been interested in fishing and bird watching and wanted to combine photography into these.After sitting down and looking at what the camera can do it I'm afraid it quite blew my mind.What I would like to know is, if I became a member of the society is there any way that someone could take me under their wing(so to speak)and help me through what at the moment to me at my age seem a daunting task of getting to know my camera.(canon 600D)Atpresent I only have one lense,18-55 IS but hope to add to this in the future.I would like to thank anyone who reads this email for taking the time in so doing.

I believe they could possibly be of Sittingbourne as one is in fact identified as the Sittingbourne Fire Station and has the Ambulance Stationn next door. The period would be very early 1900s.
